Task 1: An E-mail
Imagine you are an exchange student. Write an
e-mail to a friend. Include the following:
a where you are living
b people you’ve met
c what difficulties you are having
d your feelings
Task 2: A Narrative
Write a narrative about a frightening, sad or
shocking experience you had when you were on
a trip with family or friends. It can be real or imaginary.
Include the following:
a time, place and characters
b events in the story, how people felt, difficulties faced,
feelings
c how difficulties were resolved / what happened in the end
